Grape Nuts and the Bigger Picture

Has anyone ever wondered why Grape Nuts are called Grape Nuts? They aren't grapes and they aren't nuts. Well...whatever they are, they're quite delicious - especially with B-A-N-A-N-A-S.

Moving on....

   My friend Katie shared this quote with me on the phone today and it has been ringing in my ears ever sense:

"We would want exactly what God wants for us if we could see everything that He sees."

I think that is so true! It's good to remember that we can't see a fraction of what He sees....we are very limited in our view of life - especially when we are looking at life through the eyes of the world instead of the eyes of faith. I think it's time to quit trying to be God...let Him have control and trust His plans for me. Onward Christian soldiers....buckle up!

Well...this is the first time that it is actually me typing on this xanga thing. I feel kind of weird because it's like I'm talking to myself, but then again...anyone can read it, so I'm really talking to everybody. That's creepy...but I like it. All that to say...I don't know the whole "blog lingo"....actually, I dont know any of it.... so if you send me a kindhearted little comment or an "eProp," if you will, I might not know how to "eprop" you back.
